Are you a newcomer? Then please allow us to welcome you to the Iron Fortress Reseller Portal — the glorious gateway for all our resellers! Do you already own a store catering to live-action role-playing, reenactment, cosplay or other kinds of playacting? Are you here due to considerations of becoming a reseller? Do you feel the thrill of equipping your local adventurers for the tales of tomorrow? Then look no further! We have prepared a comprehensive guide below to assist you in every step in your quest.
STEP 1
ACQUANTANCE
The first step in our potential partnership is to get acquainted with our company, products and services. We invite you to read about our vision statement, company culture and staff profiles to understand who we are and what motivates us. Our aim is not merely to sell products but to provide the means to adventurous self-actualization! We also recommend that you familiarise yourself with our brands, safety approach, product construction, reseller discounts and general terms. All this information combined should give you a general idea of whether our products are feasible for your business.
STEP 2
CRITERIA
The second step is ensuring that your business meets the criteria to become a reseller. To ensure fair market competition, we only offer our product to be sold at the recommended retail price at businesses that operate a web shop, brick-and-mortar store or booth at public third-party conventions. In other words, you cannot become a reseller only to buy and redistribute products exclusively to family, friends and acquaintances. We refer to our Epic Armoury Affiliated programme if you are an organiser of a live-action role-playing campaign, recurring reenactment event or similar organiser. If you are a private customer, we refer you to our webshops for Epic Armoury, Medieval Merchant, and our Recommended Retailers.
STEP 3
APPLICATION
If you fulfil our reseller criteria and have decided that you would like to become a reseller, you can apply for a reseller account. The first step of this process is to fill out the following form. Following this, you will receive an email containing an activation link that will provide you access to your preliminary account. As this email is automatically generated, we advise you to inspect your spam folder if it hasn’t reached your inbox within a few minutes. The second step is to file your application by filling out our Reseller Application Form. Once submitted, we will manually inspect and finalise your application unless we assess the need for further information or documentation. In either case, you will receive a status notification from our customer service team.
STEP 4
SUBSCRIPTION
While we process your reseller application, we recommend that you subscribe to the Iron Fortress Newsletter. These newsletters regularly provide valuable information regarding service messages, price changes, and novelty products. We continuously seek to ensure that you are timely informed and have relevant information, so we encourage you to send us feedback regarding the newsletter content. We are at your service!
STEP 5
ORDERING
Once your reseller account has been activated and approved, you are ready to place your first order. Well done, adventurer! Based on your company type and credentials, your business has now been assigned one of our Dragon Discount tiers. The following video demonstrates how to navigate and order from our website, including the feature to conveniently place orders through customised CSV files.
STEP 6
SHIPPING
By default, we will manage the shipping and customs clearance to deliver the goods to your location under the DAP-Incoterms 2020. We will invoice you for our shipping costs accordingly.
If you have a specific shipping method in mind, we are more than happy to accommodate. Let us know how you would like to handle shipments from our warehouse to your business location, giving you control over your logistics. From time to time, resellers may need to collect their orders directly from our warehouse or arrange for their own freight service to pick them up. This option can be selected during the checkout process.
Our team has worked hard to secure excellent freight rates for both parcels and pallets, covering standard and express delivery options. While we don't post rates on our website due to price variations by location and fuel surcharges, we can assure you that no dealer has been able to ship from our warehouse at better rates than ours, giving you confidence in the cost-effectiveness of our services.
Shipping one or more boxes is often the best option for smaller orders. However, we will always assess if your order is large enough to warrant pallet shipping. Our goal is to make your business operations easier and more cost-effective with our services.
Regarding Iron Fortress America: Shipping out of our Louisville warehouse is new. However, we have negotiated favourable freight rates for both parcels and pallets, including standard and express delivery options with UPS. For a rate estimate or to get current rates for your location, don't hesitate to contact our Warehouse, Wyvern Anthony Montgomery.
STEP 7
RETURNS
Are you thinking of returning an item? No problem! We want to make the return process as smooth as possible for you. To ensure a quick and hassle-free return, we recommend reading our Product Return Guide.
STEP 8
ASSETS AND DATA
Now that you are a reseller of Iron Fortress products, you will need access to our reseller product data and photo material. Before accessing and using our content, we encourage you to pay special attention to Chapter 6 in our General Terms about intellectual property.
Our Product Data folder includes product descriptions, product lists and price changes, and our Product Photos folder includes all product images in high resolution (TIFF, maximum resolution) and low resolution (JPEG, 500 × 750 px). You are also welcome to use the contents of the Ambience Photos folder in your marketing.
You are welcome to use our product copywriting on your webshop following our Canonical Instructions. However, we encourage you to produce your own copywriting, as search engine indexing will most likely identify duplicate content, resulting in a ranking loss for your website.
STEP 9
RECOMMENDED RETAILERS
While the companies that constitute our resellers come in many shapes and sizes, our Epic Armoury Recommended Retailers take it to the next level. They blend webshops and physical stores that you can visit for a closer look at our products.
To become am Epic Armoury Recommended Retailer, your business must offer (1) a high standard of customer service, (2) a large product selection of our brands, especially Epic Armoury, in stock, (3) a profound knowledge and guidance on brands and products and (4) acceptance of product returns by our return policy.
As an Epic Armoury Recommended Retailer, you can promote your business as a specialist in our products and use the Epic Armoury Recommended Retailer logo as part of your marketing. In addition, we promote and list all Recommended Retailers on our Epic Armoury webpage.
